​My initial idea was to make moths that were heavily buried under texture signifying their beauty even after their death. But the idea eventually evolved more when I took up felt embroidering. Now I wanted to represent their short yet beautiful lives as well.
So each painting will be accompanied with a felt embroidered moth that could be attached to a painting but also be worn as a brooch/pin.
