One of the main reasons I started this series was to test the limits of paper as to how well I can stitch on it. Each artwork is hence heavily embroidered on the main piece with a variation in stitches used. To make them more interesting and 3 dimensional, I added another layer in the center consisting of birds painted on a smaller piece of handmade paper.
