An interesting glimpse into the Heritage:

Hailing from Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Kinnauri shawls are one of the most famous weaves done with wool threads in the northern region of India. Though, the weavers of Kinnaur originally came from various small towns along the wool trade road between India, Tibet and China. The intricately designed shawls are used as articles of clothing for festivities and weddings.

Jaali means a perforated latticed screen in Hindi. Kinnauri shawls are known for their colorful geometric designs steeped in traditional values.
