In my early childhood days, I would watch my mother embroider and sew most of my clothes, way into the night. Even when we visited her village once a year, I would find the whole evening activity of women gathering around to work on a saree, so so fascinating. I think that was probably the start of my  love for colors and patterns.

Fast forward 20 years and here I am mimicking the same patterns and designs that I was ogling over then. The whole month of November has breezed by making these 30 ornaments with 60 designs (front and back), depicting 10 types of textile art from India. It has been a nostalgic month, but also one of the best!
